Our Objectives:

1. Education for the general public and local authorities about birds of prey.
    Our environmental education programs reach approximately 5,000 students each year.
    As educators we feel a responsibility to share our knowledge with our community in hopes that our
    enthusiasm will then be reflected in the faces in front of us.

2. Provide Raptore Rescue Services for injured birds though out Croatia.
    With the help of our dedicated volunteers,  we have been able to rescue over 600 birds of prey, many of
    which, would have surely died. Today thanks to their efforts and those of our dedicated staff, the skies over
    Croatia are alive again.

3. To provide appropriate facilities for the rehabilitation, care, treatment and release of wildlife
    casualties.
    The center began with 1 person, 1 used car, and a 1 large dream. Today thanks to the many donations, and
    hard work, we are able to provide shelter to over 30 injured or orphaned birds. Since 2004 we have opened our
    hospital providing 24 hour care for injured raptors and other wildlife. Two veterinarians are on full staff with many
    students training for future veterinarian careers.

4. Provide Training for the sport of Hawking.
    Our classes are designed for beginners:  who must learn the first steps of training and careing for his bird, to
    someone just wanting to improve there knowledge about our local birds of prey and the ancient art of
    falconry. Since its begining, over 50 people from all over the world have participated in our courses and seminars. 

5. Breeding and legal sale of birds in order to detour  illegal handling with birds of prey.
   In an effort to deter the illegal sale of birds and offer our students the chance to purchase birds, which are raised with
   high standards and free from sickness, we have began to breed many types of hawks and falcons.
